Basildon Neighbourhood Watch is part of the wider Neighbourhood Watch Network.

Basildon Neighbourhood Watch brings people together to help create friendlier, safer communities where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to occur.
We work in partnership with Essex Police, Basildon Council's Community Safety Partnership and voluntary organisations, including Crimestoppers, but most importantly with residents like YOU...who want to make their neighbourhoods safer, friendlier places to live.
We are currently looking to increase the number of schemes in the Borough’s Wards which currently have little Basildon Neighbourhood Watch representation. If you are interested in starting a scheme please get in touch.

Our aim at Basildon Neighbourhood Watch
- To reduce crime and the opportunities for crime.
- Help reduce anti-social behaviour.
- Passing good ideas, hints and tips for crime prevention including scam alerts.
- Provide help and reassurance.
- To encourage neighbours to watch out for each other.
- Promote closer relations with Essex Police.
- Improve community spirit.
